Sumo Lifestyle
Discipline, Diet, and Dedication.
Professional Sumo wrestlers (Rikishi) live lives of absolute communal discipline within strict training stables known as Heya, where ancient hierarchical traditions dictate every aspect of their daily existence, from morning Keiko training to their specialized diet.
Junior wrestlers wake before dawn to prepare the clay ring and cook meals, while senior wrestlers focus on intense training (Keiko). Their massive size is a result of a carefully calibrated diet centered around Chanko Nabe, eaten after training to maximize weight gain.
